Job summary

Wood Violet Recovery is seeking an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to support adults in residential treatment during the night. You will help ensure safety, comfort, and a therapeutic environment while the day staff prepares for the morning shift.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility and perform client safety and wellness checks.
• Maintain a calm, therapeutic environment during overnight hours.
• Respond to client needs, emergencies, and crises appropriately.
• Document observations and safety checks accurately and timely.
• Perform light housekeeping to prep the facility for morning shifts.
• Assist with early morning client routines as needed.
• Provide transportation for approved appointments when necessary.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and operations teams to ensure continuity of care.

• 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am
• Sunday through Thursday

What You'll Do

As an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician, you'll help ensure our clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night while preparing the facility for the day ahead.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the facility and conducting routine client safety and wellness checks.
• Maintaining a calm, therapeutic environment during overnight hours.
• Responding appropriately to client needs, emergencies, and crisis situations.
  Documenting observations, safety checks, and client interactions accurately and timely.
• Completing light housekeeping and organizational tasks to prepare the facility for the morning shift.
• Assisting with early morning client routines as needed.
• Providing transportation for approved appointments when necessary.
• Collaborating with nursing, clinical, and operations teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Supporting clients with professionalism, empathy, dignity, and respect.

What We're Looking For

We want team members who are dependable, observant, compassionate, and comfortable working independently while remaining part of a collaborative care team.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• The ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Preferred:

• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, healthcare, social services, customer service, or related fields.
