You will operate and monitor two battery stations, install charged batteries, follow company procedures, perform safety checks, and keep a clean, organized workspace. This role offers a night shift with shirts provided, boot allowance, and a safety-focused team environment.

The Battery Station Attendant is responsible for maintaining, charging, replacing, and watering industrial batteries used in equipment operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment remains operational and batteries are properly maintained for safe and efficient use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor two battery stations.
• Remove depleted batteries from equipment.
• Install fully charged batteries into equipment and sleds.
• Charge batteries according to company procedures.
• Water and maintain batteries as required.
• Inspect batteries and charging equipment for safe operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Report equipment or battery issues to management.

Schedule

Sunday: 7pm – 7am

Monday: 7pm – 7am

Tuesday: 7pm-7am

Wednesday: 7pm-1am

Requirements:

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Regularly lift and move items weighing 25 to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks involving battery handling and equipment operation.

Safety Requirements

Employees must be able to wear and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:

• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection (ear plugs)
• Steel-toe boots
