Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co. is seeking an Assistant Batcher for the 3rd shift (Wednesday–Sunday) at Seabrook, NJ. The role involves accurate weighing of ingredients, staging at the cook deck, and coordinating with the batcher to ensure proper batch execution while following safety and quality protocols.

Requires a high school diploma, 6 months manufacturing experience, and strong math skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in mathematics and able to perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Follow batching schedule and adjust for add-ons.
• Stage ingredients at the cook deck before batching.
• Determine which ingredients will be pumped, pulled from tanks, or added directly.
• Maintain proper silo rotation and complete silo hookups before batching.
• Accurately weigh ingredients and perform volume-to-weight conversions.
• Adhere to food safety policies and GMP and complete paperwork accurately.
