Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a Batch Operator for our Grand Prairie, TX plant. The role blends chemicals, prepares equipment, and processes raw materials, contributing to daily production goals in a safety-focused environment.

The position is 3rd shift, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM, with overtime. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and a path for advancement within a team-driven facility.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to train in batch blending and follow precise formulas/instructions.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and material codes.
• Experience operating blending and mixing equipment; forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely, including ingredient sequencing and raw material codes.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients into mixers; take samples and coordinate with Quality Control.
• Operate mixing/blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor automated systems.
• Maintain production records, batch logs, and shift handoff documentation; assist with packaging as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements; participate in safety training and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
