Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in Beaufort, South Carolina. You will maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles powered by diesel and gasoline engines, focusing on brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.

You must have automotive mechanical experience, own a complete set of hand tools, and be willing to work night shift (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM). CDL license preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Automotive mechanical experience required or demonstrated.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Must own a full set of personal hand tools; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for the assigned job.
• Perform maintenance and inspection of the fleet.
• Operate vehicles with standard/manual transmissions and power tools.
