Job summary

ADS in North Carolina seeks an Automation Technician for its 3rd shift (Monday to Thursday, 7 PM to 5 AM) to operate and maintain EZflow production equipment. You will ensure safety, hit quality plans, and drive continuous improvement across automated systems.

The role requires understanding of robotics, electrical, pneumatics, and TPM maintenance, plus strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with engineers and supervisors.

Qualifications

High School diploma; technical certifications preferred.
Mechatronic training welcomed; experience with automated equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Strong safety focus and commitment to TPM/maintenance.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain manual and automated production machines.
Meet quality plans and production metrics (yield, scrap, cycle time).
Communicate with shift supervisors and management; support TPM.
Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment; collaborate with engineers.
Complete required paperwork and participate in pre-shift meetings.
