Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support highly automated robotic and non-robotic equipment in a fast-paced plant environment. You will read electrical prints, diagnose control systems, troubleshoot diverse systems, and program/modify robots as needed.

The role requires strong problem solving, safety adherence, and teamwork to sustain production and quality. Shift: 3rd, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM EST, Spartanburg, SC; benefits include health, dental, vision, and ESOP

Qualifications

• Reads electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics; understands technical literature.
• Uses multimeter, oscilloscope for fault diagnosis.
• Investigates electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery.
• Ensures safety, environmental, and procedural guidelines.
• Continuous improvement mindset; willingness to train.
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and update electrical prints and schematics.
• Diagnose and repair faulty controls systems with testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Modify, write, and troubleshoot robot programs.
• Participate in preventive actions.
• Conduct corrective actions and report findings.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
