Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift to keep our facility and equipment running smoothly. You will handle maintenance, respond to issues, and support projects across the building while collaborating with IT, HR, Facilities, and Operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in maintenance/automation, experience with automated systems or conveyors, and hands-on troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, automation, or a similar technical role.
  • Experience with automated systems and/or conveyors is required.
  • Hands-on use of tools to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Able to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of facility, systems, equipment, and AutoStore; monitor and respond to issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators)
  • Maintain testing and service for Fire/Life Safety systems; ensure safety compliance
  • Maintain appearance and functionality of facility including lighting and general upkeep
  • Support day-to-day facility needs and equipment setup
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and ongoing services
  • Keep organized, clean and safe work areas; store tools properly
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation
  • Identify and report safety hazards and follow PPE requirements
  • Perform other duties to support operations

In this role, you’ll spend your day working with a team to keep the facility and equipment running smoothly—handling maintenance and repairs, responding to issues quickly, supporting projects across the building, and preventing problems before they happen. You’ll partner closely with IT, HR, Facilities, and Operations to solve problems and keep things on track.

Schedule
  • 3rd Shift Schedule: Monday night - Friday night, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM , with the final shift ending at 5:30 AM on Saturday morning.
Pay and Benefits
  • Starting Pay: $** 33.50 **** per hour**

Qualifications
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in maintenance, automation, or a similar technical role
  • Experience with automated systems and/or conveyors required
  • Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience using tools to troubleshoot, repair and resolve maintenance issues
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including the ability to use systems/software to track and manage work
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and integrity
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on increasing efficiency and improving processes
  • Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility, grounds, building systems, equipment, and AutoStore system; monitor performance and respond to issues as they arise
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators, and other equipment) to keep operations running smoothly
  • Maintain and coordinate required testing and service for Fire/Life Safety systems, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the facility, including lighting, minor repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep of interior and exterior spaces
  • Support day-to-day facility needs, including associate moves, equipment/furniture setup, spill cleanup, and general maintenance tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ongoing services (landscaping, janitorial, waste removal, etc.)
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas, including storage, warehouse, and maintenance spaces; properly maintain and store tools and equipment
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation for building systems and equipment
  • Identify, report, and address safety hazards, and follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs

Pay Range:

$23.80 - $39.14

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
