Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a 3rd Shift Automation Lead to support case-picking and sorting in our automated warehouse. You will guide a team, monitor orders, and ensure safe, efficient operations while adhering to safety procedures in a noisy, climate-controlled environment.

The role requires hands-on operation of VPS Vertique Picking software, machine maintenance, and collaboration with the Warehouse Manager. Prior automation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Experience in an automated environment preferred.
• Able to work in a noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates VPS Vertique Picking and loading software within the automation environment.
• Troubleshoot conveyors and maintain machines.
• Maintain understanding of package dimensions, descriptions, and SKU numbers.
• Direct work on the floor to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in housekeeping duties within machines and warehouse.
• Assist in interviewing potential candidates.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
