Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator for 3rd shift (8:00pm-6:00am, Sunday-Thursday). The position offers $18.75/hour and a strong path to learn advanced machine operation skills in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, assisting with start-up/shut-down, reading work orders, inspecting products, logging data in the ERP, and supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Learn and assist with machine start-up, shut-down, and LOTO procedures.
• Read and follow work orders and ensure quality per instructions.
• Inspect finished products using blueprints and measuring tools.
• Log production data and scrap quantities in the ERP system.
• Support 5S workplace organization and continuous improvement.
