Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Beaver Dam, WI. Training is available for motivated individuals to learn CNC machine operation and quality inspection practices. This opportunity offers growth within an employee-owned manufacturing team.

Shift options include 2nd and 3rd, with hours 3:00 PM–11:00 PM or 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday. No prior experience is required; strong work ethic and reliability will be rewarded with on-the-job training and

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to use measuring tools or willingness to be trained.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload CNC and manufacturing machines.
• Monitor production runs to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Follow work instructions, process documentation, and quality standards.
• Record production information and complete required paperwork.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns or production issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Make tool changes and machine adjustments as needed.
• Assist with machine setup and operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support training and teamwork initiatives.
• Use material handling and testing equipment as required.
