Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group is seeking an Assembly Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will operate stamping presses, review traveler and drawings, and ensure parts meet specs while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

We offer starting hourly base rate of $15.50/hour with production bonuses, profit sharing after 6 months and referrals up to 1,600 per year per person, and a family‑oriented environment across multiple North American locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate press for assembly operations
• Reviews job traveler and part drawings to accurately produce parts
• Makes all required quality checks during production to ensure parts are produced to required dimensions and conform to all specifications.
• Completes all job related paperwork and production reporting to accurately record part quantity and scrap
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks to move raw material and parts as needed
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area using 6S guidelines and safety standards
• Complies with all environmental safe practices and regulations
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Job Purpose: Ultimately responsible for operating hand operated metal stamping presses and other duties required in the Assembly department.
