Job summary

Advanced Group in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Confirmations Technician II (3rd Shift) to support analytical laboratory operations through review, processing, and documentation of testing data. This role ensures data accuracy, maintains laboratory records, and upholds quality and compliance in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has a science background, hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation or laboratory data, and can work effectively in a late shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytical or testing laboratory environment.
• Experience reviewing analytical data and laboratory documentation.
• Familiarity with LIS, GC/MS, LC/MS/MS, or related analytical technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, laboratory equipment, and instrumentation.
• Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and procedures to support testing and data review.
• Verify sample identification, batch information, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Review and process analytical data from GC/MS and LC/MS/MS assays.
• Generate reports and ensure accurate transcription or upload of results into LIS.
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and records.
• Communicate testing issues, data discrepancies, and operational concerns to management.
• Support compliance with quality, safety, and laboratory standards.
• Contribute to efficient laboratory operations while meeting deadlines.
