The ideal candidate has a science background, hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation or laboratory data, and can work effectively in a late shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytical or testing laboratory environment.
• Experience reviewing analytical data and laboratory documentation.
• Familiarity with LIS, GC/MS, LC/MS/MS, or related analytical technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, laboratory equipment, and instrumentation.
• Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and procedures to support testing and data review.
• Verify sample identification, batch information, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Review and process analytical data from GC/MS and LC/MS/MS assays.
• Generate reports and ensure accurate transcription or upload of results into LIS.

Job description

We are seeking a Confirmations Technician II (3rd Shift) to support analytical laboratory operations through the review, processing, and documentation of analytical testing data. This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, maintaining laboratory records, and supporting quality and compliance standards within a regulated laboratory environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, experience working with analytical instrumentation or laboratory data, and the ability to work effectively in a third‑shift laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs and laboratory procedures to support testing and data review activities.
• Verify sample identification, batch information, and chain‑of‑custody documentation.
• Review and process analytical data generated from GC/MS and LC/MS/MS assays.
