Job summary

Viltis is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician – Confirmations in Santa Rosa, CA to support analytical operations on the 3rd shift. You will review GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data, ensure accurate documentation, and enter results into the LIS for final review and certification.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field and has at least one year of experience in an analytical lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field.
• At least one year in an analytical laboratory.
• Experience with SOPs and controlled documentation.
• Ability to safely handle biological samples and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work third shift and in a fast-paced lab.

Responsibilities

• Review and process GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and chain of custody.
• Enter results into the Laboratory Information System for final review.
• Identify data discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
• Follow all laboratory safety and quality procedures.
• Support additional lab activities as needed.
