Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Mechanical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine tests on cylinders before filling.
• Operate and maintain acetylene generators, compressors and related equipment.
• Fill and process acetylene cylinders per plant guidelines.
• Verify cylinder quantities, styles and products and replenish as needed.
• Complete quality-control documentation per procedures.
• Operate a forklift for movement of cylinders and calcium carbide.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and related shipment paperwork.
• Work with minimal supervision and exercise independent decision-making.
