Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and displays.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Assist with administration and scoring of objective tests.
• Conduct instructional exercises with individuals or small groups.
• Supervise students during school day, including lunchroom, bus, and playground.
• Make teacher aware of special needs or problems of individual students.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings.
• Follow district safety protocols and perform other duties as assigned.
