Job summary

Mesquite ISD is seeking a Paraprofessional - Campus/Instructional Assistant to support teachers in classroom preparation and instructional activities. The role involves assisting with materials, supervising students, and facilitating small group instruction in a structured campus setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Strong communication and ability to work well with children are essential. This is a Full-Time, on-campus role with supervision under a certified teacher.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the teacher to set up classroom materials.
• Assist in small group pupil instruction and tutoring as requested.
• Escort children to and from various rooms in a safe manner.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground activities.
• Record attendance and perform clerical functions with the teacher.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom and assist substitutes.
