Job summary

Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is seeking passionate 3rd and 4th grade Math and Science teachers for the 26-27 school year at our Westside campuses. The role focuses on rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and building foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.

You will collaborate with grade-level teams, participate in weekly professional development, and implement PBIS and data-driven decision-making to support multilingual Title I communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Arizona teaching certification.
• Minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned to AMS curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional planning and interventions.
• Build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment.
