Job summary

QED Systems, Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a 3-M/365 Process Knowledge Support Specialist contingent upon award of a U.S. Navy contract.

You will provide process knowledge support and training to Ship’s Force to enable optimal maintenance readiness using 3-M/365 processes and electronic data systems. The role requires ten years of naval shipboard experience, NEC 811A (or PQS 43241 watch station 307), five years in audits, U.S. citizenship, and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Ten years of naval shipboard experience required.
• Qualified in NEC 811A (or PQS 43241 watch station 307).
• Five years of audits/compliance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3-M/365 process knowledge support and training to Ship’s Force.
• Assist in maintenance management using 3-M/365 processes and electronic data systems.
• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with 3-M/365 requirements.

This position is a “Contingent Hire” position contingent upon a potential award of a new U.S. Navy contract to QED Systems.

Salary Range: $75.000/year - $90,000/year

Job Description: The 3-M/365 Specialist shall provide 3-M/365 process knowledge support and training to Ship’s Force to facilitate enhanced shipboard personnel performance using 3-M/365 processes, assessments, and electronic data systems to provide maintenance management support for optimum material condition readiness.

Job Requirements/skill sets: The 3-M/365 Specialist must have ten (10) years naval shipboard experience as military, civil service, or contractor supporting USN surface ship operation and/or maintenance and served one tour as either a command 3MC and/or TYCOM/ATG 3M inspector. The 3-M/365 Specialist must be qualified in NEC 811A (or equivalent military/civilian experience) and/or PQS 43241(series) watch station 307. The 3-M/365 Specialist must also have five (5) years experience in conducting and/or reviewing compliance audits, certifications, and assessments.

Education Requirements: Completion of a High school degree is required.

Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to access U.S. Navy ships, military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
