Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3G & H telemetry/medical surgical unit (Ortho/Spine/Neuro/Telemetry). This is a full-time, first shift role focusing on compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, patient and family education, and care coordination for orthopedic, neuro, spine, stroke, and cardiac patients.

The RN will perform rounds, assess and treat, facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges, and support the care team in a healing environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky is required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• If holding an associate degree and with <10 years experience, enroll in a BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required.

The unit serves as a secondary stroke unit as well as general cardiac/telemetry patients. The patients are transferred from PACU, ED, interventional areas, and direct admissions from MD offices.
