3D Technical Designer (Baby/Toddler/Little Kids)

About this opportunity: This is a full-time position that works closely with the design team, merchandiser, and 3D technical director to create stunning 3D garments for multiple brands. The candidate will bring knowledge of garment construction, pattern balance, fit understanding, grading, graphic placements and 3D rendering abilities to our various toddler/kid’s programs. You will be joining a fast‑paced team that values eagerness to learn, initiative, teamwork, and quality. You will also work alongside our technical design and patternmaking teams to gather all the necessary resources needed to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

Creation and adjustment of 3D garments from a DXF, block and/or design sketch through pattern manipulation while maintaining proper balance and ideal pattern shapes/fit. This involves advanced pattern making knowledge to achieve the design vision requested by the design team.
Sewing 3D Garments in Browzwear
Assist patternmaking team by making call‑outs on their DXF files on ways to improve the fit and overall appearance of the garment
Create spec sheet for the garment for Tech pack purpose.
Creation of graded DXF to validate grades & graphic placements
Line and fixture renderings in Browzwear
Scan fabrics to create U3ma files

Qualifications

Min. 3 years relevant work experience in apparel design, childrenswear is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or higher: apparel/fashion design, garment fit & construction or comparable
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
Strong Browzwear with 3D creation and rendering abilities.
Required pattern-making skills.
Advanced understanding of 2D pattern & block development and knowledge of technical fitting process on a physical form and on Avatars
Knowledge of Gerber is a plus
3D to Ecommerce integration knowledge is a plus
Must have a strong sense of urgency and strong ability to pay close attention to detail
Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and independently
