Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a 3D Structural Designer to join our Data Center Mission Critical Group across U.S. offices. You’ll draft and refine drawings in REVIT, AutoCAD, and NAVISWORKS, perform site walkdowns, and mentor junior designers while coordinating with engineers on BIM workflows.

The ideal candidate has strong proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, ACC/BIM 360, Dynamo, and related tools, with experience in steel and concrete modeling and a commitment to safety and quality. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field with design engineering experience
• Associates Degree in related field with 6+ years of design engineering experience
• Experience or 8+ years in design engineering
• Proficient with both 2D and 3D design software
• REVIT, AutoCAD, NAVISWORKS, ACC/BIM 360, Dynamo required
• Preferred: Tekla, Advance Steel, Inventor
• Experience in structural concrete and steel modeling
• Experience producing structural construction documents and BIM workflows
• Knowledge of IFC/openBIM workflows and BIM standards
• Able to travel 10–15% of the time

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using Plant 3D and other tools
• Perform client site walkdowns and generate walkdown reports
• Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance
• Mentor junior designers and collaborate with engineers on design concepts
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to follow BIM processes and standards
