Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Design Drafter to generate complete product designs for major programs and to lead drafters on the design team. The role requires creating precise solid models and layouts from engineering data while monitoring progress and addressing deviations.

You will develop construction concepts aligned with business goals and contribute ideas for productivity, cost improvements, and new opportunities. Pro/E expertise and SAP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Pro Engineer or similar 3-D solid modeling software
• University Degree in Mechanical Drafting and Design preferred
• Strong self-motivation and integrity are required
• Effective communication and organizational skills are required
• Ability to troubleshoot, collaborate and brainstorm with team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Pro/E
• Expertise in SAP EC process transactions; Variant Configuration experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Generate the complete product design for major programs and lead a design team of Drafters/ Designers
• Prepare comprehensive solid models, drawings and layouts with precision from engineering data
• Monitor program progress and react to deviations from plan
• Develop construction concepts to meet business goals
• Generate ideas for productivity, cost improvements and new opportunities
• Prepare BOM and input data into SAP
• Assist in training and checking work of other drafters
• Provide technical direction to teammates on assignments
