Job summary

LightForce Orthodontics is seeking a Test Technician to join a fast‑growing startup advancing 3D‑printed orthodontic appliances. You will conduct hands‑on testing, collect data, and support product and process development to ensure quality in our novel manufacturing system.

You will work with process engineers, hardware teams, and manufacturing staff to validate equipment, improve documentation, and maintain test protocols in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on technical problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and spreadsheet use.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation habits.
• Experience following SOPs in a manufacturing/assembly setting.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Committed to safety and quality in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain lab testing equipment (tensile/hardness testers, microscopes).
• Perform testing and collect data to support development, qualification, and production.
• Create and maintain data databases and documentation.
• Train technicians on measurement and inspection procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle waste per procedures.
• Support process engineers and QA during equipment upgrades and production runs.
