Job summary

Iconma, LLC is seeking a 3D Print Technician/Operator for our Newton, NC site to support manufacturing and supply operations. You will create, print and test 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, collaborate with teammates to integrate equipment, and assist with preventive maintenance to improve process reliability.

The role requires hands-on capability with 3D modelling, design, printing and testing of mechanical components, plus strong reading of technical docs and excellent troubleshooting and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Extensive experience and proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D Modelling or SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience in 3D modelling, design, printing and testing mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, specifications, and procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and starting ribbon lines to support Installation team efforts.
• Design and implement mechanical solutions and process changes to improve capability of manufacturing equipment.
• Solve mechanical and process issues through data analysis, experience, and collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Manage spare part identification and storeroom entry as recommended by suppliers or peer engineers; noting available spares within (2)-plant footprint.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement process improvements.
