Job summary

Kalogon in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for 3D printing to run resin and FDM printers, stage jobs, and harvest parts for continuous production.

You will post-process parts, inspect for defects, and work with R&D on prototypes and pilots, while contributing ideas to improve cycle time and quality. Reports to the Production Manager; on-site, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude needed.
• Problem-solver with quick thinking required.
• Experience in manufacturing or maker/technical environment is a plus.
• 3D modeling or CAM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bank of resin and FDM 3D printers, staging jobs, starting prints, and harvesting finished parts to keep machines producing through the shift.
• Post-process printed parts: remove supports, wash, cure, finish to established standards.
• Perform first-pass inspection on every part to catch defects before quality control.
• Diagnose floor issues and implement practical fixes.
• Contribute ideas to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Collaborate with R&D on prototypes and pilot builds.
