Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Drafter for a temporary/contract position to create, convert, and maintain electrical and mechanical 2D and 3D drawings within engineering design and document management systems. This role supports engineering teams by developing and updating technical drawings, models, and documentation used for engineered products and assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
• Experience or exposure to electrical and software-related projects is a plus.
• Previous 3D modeling experience required.
• Autodesk Inventor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop and maintain 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Manage and maintain engineering documentation within TeamCenter.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support design initiatives.
• Ensure drawings and models meet established quality and design standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
