Job summary

Apex Geotech Solutions in Kilgore, TX is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to support the design team by creating and updating 2D drawings and 3D models under senior engineers' direction. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

The role emphasizes drafting proficiency, attention to detail, and collaboration with designers on documentation, revisions, and manufacturing-ready files in our ERP/PDM environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years CAD drafting experience.
• Proficiency in 3D solid modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models per customer and company specifications.
• Maintain drawing files and revisions in the File / PDM system.
• Generate BOM (bill of materials) & routers, update as needed in ERP system.
• Print, distribute, and file engineering documents per document control procedures.
• Support senior designers with drafting, formatting, and documentation tasks.
• Check drawings for completeness and standard compliance.
• Assist with physical part inspection and measurement when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
