TSMC Arizona is looking for a Facility Hookup 3D Engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a Facility Hookup 3D Engineer, you will create and coordinate three-dimensional models for each Hookup system including Gas, PCW, tool accessory, rack, PPL, drain, chemical, power, exhaust, PV, etc., and be responsible for managing 3D elements modeled by trade partners, interpreting tool needs and spacing requirements, and developing high-quality 3D models for design drawings, tool installation surveys, and construction.

Job Description

1. Create high-quality 3D models using software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo.
2. Coordinate with local trade and equipment engineers to ensure models meet tool requirements.
3. Ensure all models are of good quality, avoiding clashes between utility systems and neighboring tools.
4. Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in 3D modeling.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with models as they arise.
6. Apply working knowledge of space rules for Hookup and Utility systems.
7. Collaborate with construction trade partners to solve and prevent clash issues during pre-hookup surveys.
8. Review contractors’ work and control quality.
9. Document and maintain accurate records of revisioning drawings.

Minimum Qualifications

1. B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Architectural Engineering or related fields.
2. Basic knowledge of BIM software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo; CAD certification required.
3. Previous design-related work experience, preferably with building and piping design.
4. Experience in semiconductor factory building is a plus.
5. Basic mechanical knowledge and semiconductor process understanding are advantageous.
6. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and own the resolution process.
7. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with appropriate gowning.
8. Strong team-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
9. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Willingness to work overtime or on-call during emergencies or business needs.
11. Fluent in English; bilingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred but not required.
