Our client is an established OSAT (outsourced, assemble, & test) Manufacturing facility in the Phoenix AZ vicinity, and is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join the team in building the foundation for the new manufacturing facilities, industrial work, and field engineering with up to 2.1M square feet for a site, and buildings up to 600k square feet.

Electrical Engineer overview:

• Evaluate production equipment performance and efficiency, ensure maintenance meets OEM and AHJ/Code requirements.
• Coordinate with utility providers on load management and downtime.
• Perform load calculations and select appropriate FEEDERS for system stability.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on transformers, generators, UPS, and batteries.
• Monitor key equipment in the central control room in real-time, including power consumption.
• Develop system documentation and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical system failures.
• Manage system operations, including installation, maintenance, and user training.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors during construction and post-construction phases.
• Handle hook-up & layout, matrix review of production equipment, preparation of bidding documents, on-site supervision, equipment turn-on, and handover.
• Participate in expansion construction, performing tasks related to planning, design, construction, completion, and permits.
• Perform additional duties as needed by the business.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a facility engineering role within manufacturing and/or construction environments
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, with the ability to apply them to site electrical power systems.
• Proficiency with electrical engineering principles, practices, and project application.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze testing results, data, and computations for effective solutions.
