Job summary

BILT Incorporated is seeking a talented 3D Animator to create animated step-by-step assembly, installation, and maintenance instructions that meet production standards. You will handle modeling, texturing, UV unwrapping, and animation to bring complex procedures to life as interactive 3D Instructions.

You will partner closely with Instructional Designers, SMEs, QA, and Production leadership to deliver accurate visual guidance for consumer, professional, and enterprise products, in Grapevine

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D animation, modeling, texturing, and UV unwrapping.
• Ability to read and translate technical instructions into visual sequences.
• Strong attention to detail and quality with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex written assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair instructions and convert them into clear 3D animation following BILT standards.
• Execute modeling, texturing, UV unwrapping, lighting, and animation per pipeline.
• Produce step-by-step 3D Instructions that meet quality and timing specs.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers, SMEs, QA, and Production leads for accuracy.
• Apply mechanical reasoning to visualize assembly, function, and service.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Follow asset management, file naming, version control practices.
• Review work against quality standards and incorporate feedback.
• Optimize models and textures for mobile, web, and spatial platforms.
• Support production tools and templates improvements.
