Job summary

Seven Feathers in Canyonville, OR is seeking a bartender to prepare beverages and provide attentive guest service for banquet events. You will handle cashier duties, greet guests, and ensure the bar area is clean and stocked while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

The role requires 1 year of customer service experience, ability to multitask, and adherence to health and safety standards. A valid Gaming License and OLCC/ServSafe certifications are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or desirable.
• 1 year of experience dealing with customers/guests preferred, especially in food service or bartending.
• Able to read, write and comprehend written instructions.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to be available when business needs arise.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
• Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate and an OLCC Servers Permit required.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times.

The Position:

Prepares alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standards and all applicable federal laws and regulations. Performs cashier service for Banquet guests. Provides superior guest service and maintains the Banquet environment in a manner that will ensure repeat business.

• Ensures prompt, courteous, and hospitable service at all times. Responsible for maintaining positive employee relations and moral in a supportive manner.
• Greets guest and takes and fills orders directly from the guest at the bar.
• Takes payment at the cash register and is responsible for proper cash handling, reconciliation, and accounting for the house bank.
• Maintains the Resorts high standard of housekeeping and sanitation in the convention center. Ensures that bars and serving areas are properly set up.
• Resolves customer concerns, complaints or suggestions or refers them to management in a continuous effort to provide superior Resort guest service.

Requirements
