The Arc of Somerset County is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a 9am–4pm shift in Warren, NJ. The role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across group homes and community settings.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1 year of I/DD experience (preferred). Pay is $18.91/hr with duties spanning daily living assistance, nutrition support,ISP collaboration, and community engagement.

Job Description:

• Assist consumers, as needed, in skill development, activities of daily living, personal care, domestic living, recreation and socialization
• Ensure assigned clients’ nutritional needs; assisting with feeding as necessary
• Assist consumers in nutritional planning, grocery shopping and preparation of all meals.

• Train and support consumers in all areas of their ISP.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Train and support consumers in the community including: social, recreational, cultural, religion and education networks.
