Job summary

Foothills Middle School is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach for three positions. The role supports student athletes through skill development, strategy instruction, and physical training to foster individual and team success, citizenship, and confidence.

Stipend ranges from $2,867 to $4,465, prorated based on coach availability. Open until filled; represented by the Co-Curricular Employees Association. Immigration and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at Middle/High School level preferred.
• Possess a current First Aid Card/CPR Card or complete a district approved athletic training/sports medicine course equivalent to the Red Cross first aid training or be enrolled in that type of class.
• A Washington State Patrol Criminal History Information Form, required by RCW 43.43.830, be on file in the Athletic Office.
• High school graduate and at least 19 years of age.
• SPI Moral Character Supplement Form 4020b completed and on file.
• Annually attend bloodborne pathogens training.
• Annually attend a WIAA approved rules clinic for the sport being coached.
• Certificated personnel preferred.

• Assist in the preparation of student athletes for meaningful athletic competition through instruction in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual/team success.
• Provide instruction that leads to good citizenship, pride of accomplishment, good sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
