Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team at Wenatchee High School as a Para Educator for the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program. This part-time position offers an average of 6 hours of work per day, providing support to JROTC instructors and students in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will assist in fostering a positive learning atmosphere, encouraging student engagement, and promoting leadership skills among cadets.

Responsibilities
  • Assist JROTC instructors in the planning and implementation of instructional activities and lesson plans.
  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them understand and apply JROTC principles and concepts.
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, drills, and events, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Help maintain classroom materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring they are organized and accessible.
  • Support the development of student leadership skills through mentoring and guidance.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of JROTC events, competitions, and community service projects.
  • Communicate effectively with students, instructors, and parents regarding student progress and behavior.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

  • Tuition reimbursement, 50% up to $450 per year for qualified expenses.
