Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler for the 1st shift to produce all types of 3-phase transformers in a continuous flow environment. The role requires reading shop drawings, following standard work, building sub-assemblies, and coordinating with engineering and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate, overtime opportunities, and benefits starting on day one. Night/shift premiums apply for off shifts, with weekly pay and career progression options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit; within 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.
• Active‑Duty Military Service candidates are exempt from geographic limitation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop specifications and measuring equipment.
• Follow standard work and visual operating procedures to complete tasks.
• Build sub-assemblies per OPS and quality standards for final assembly using calibrated tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time completion and shipment.
• Conduct ratio testing and troubleshoot issues to complete ratio tests.
• Move units using overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
