Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury is hiring for a Machine Operator – Plastics Manufacturing to support our East Metro plastics facility. This full-time role offers a 3-day rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts and weekend rotation, with pay between $19 and $20 per hour.

You will operate and monitor automated equipment, inspect for quality, and assist with setup and changeovers while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Machine operation or automated equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours.
• Basic reading and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated manufacturing equipment.
• Package rolls of plastic film according to customer specifications.
• Inspect products for splices, defects, and quality issues.
• Verify product counts, materials, and supplies.
• Assist with machine changeovers and production line setup.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA, safety, quality, and productivity standards.
