Job summary

A V Gauge & Fixture South is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and run 3-axis CNC machines, preparing parts to spec for ongoing projects in a fast-paced shop.

Under the CNC department head, you will read engineering blueprints, perform quality checks, and work with limited supervision to meet tight deadlines while following Health & Safety guidelines. This role requires availability to work shifts in a clean, professional facility.

Qualifications

• Solid 3-axis CNC background and ability to read blueprints.
• Willingness to learn required control software and adapt quickly.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Availability to work shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run 3 axis CNC machines, programing experience is an asset
• Cut and prep material
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints
• Perform quality checks on the completed product
