Job summary

Morada Senior Living in Waxahachie is hiring Care Managers to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a safe, home-like environment. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, promoting dignity, and ensuring comfortable surroundings.

Requirements include a Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred, high school diploma or GED, being at least 18, and prior experience with seniors is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
