Job summary

Morada Senior Living is seeking compassionate Care Givers to support residents in our community. The role involves hands-on care, maintaining a home-like environment, and helping residents with daily activities while upholding safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred to support licensed caregivers and residents.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 18 years of age or older to work with residents.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, management and coworkers.
• Strong customer service and multitasking abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and safety.
• Support residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers and eating as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident's room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Position Requirements

• Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
