Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Lead Production Associate in Conyers, GA to oversee the safe, efficient operation of equipment and maintain cleanliness across processes. The role emphasizes food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with supervision to manage production flow.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be able to perform lockout/tagout, paperwork, and COP/CIP tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of departmental operations and procedures helpful.
• Ability to perform lockout/tagout.
• Ability to complete and review production paperwork.
• Ability to disassemble/reassemble equipment using COP/CIP.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, food safety, quality and legal compliance.
• Perform all work per environmental, health and safety standards.
• Ensure start-up/shutdown of equipment and processes.
• Inspect machinery for operational readiness and cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot machine operations with operators and maintenance.
• Coordinate production schedule with Supervisor.
• Identify proper product flow from tanks to machines.
• Assist in training new associates and provide break relief.
