Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance for efficiency, safety, and productivity on 1st shift. You will supervise 10–20 maintenance staff, schedule equipment and spare parts maintenance, design projects to boost productivity, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with OSHA and USDA standards and company policies.

Strong technical knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, and related systems is required, with experience

Qualifications

Education/Certification: Up to 18 months of post high school education in engineering or electronics from an accredited vocational, technical, or junior college
Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge Of electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler, and other systems.
Supervisory concepts and techniques.
Project management concepts and techniques.
PC word processing/spreadsheet software applications
Maintenance in a manufacturing environment
OSHA, USDA regulations

Responsibilities

Supervises the day-to-day maintenance staff to expedite work order processing and ensure safety and productivity.
Schedules and monitors maintenance of production machinery and spare parts inventory to meet schedules.
Designs or lays out in-house projects to enhance productivity and reduce down-time.
Monitors the budget to ensure maintenance costs are within plan.
Communicates with maintenance staff and internal customers to ensure compliance with standards.
