Job summary

Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a 2nd Shift Driver-Yard/Plant Non-CDL to shuttle trailers and support loading dock operations. The role runs 2:00PM to 11:00PM, Sunday through Saturday with every other weekend off, and includes a $24.25/hr base rate plus $1.50/hr shift differential.

The successful candidate will perform DOT-compliant driving, conduct shuttle moves, and maintain daily shift paperwork while upholding safety standards and strong teamwork with staff across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience driving or shuttling tractor trailers preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle per DOT and DFA rules.
• Move trailers between facilities and loading docks as directed.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report issues.
• Document all trailer moves and complete shift paperwork.
• Fuel, couple/uncouple units, and connect brake lines.
• Ensure safety inspections and compliance.
• Maintain professional relations with staff and attend driver workshops.
• Represent DFA positively in interactions.
