Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies, located in Mesa, AZ, seeks a Cable and Wire Harness Assembler to accurately assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematics. You will read diagrams, measure components, solder connections, and ensure quality during 2nd shift.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1+ year experience with cable and wire assemblies, plus the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work independently with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with cable and wire assemblies.
• Must be able to regularly sit, stand, and walk.
• Must be able to pass a vision exam to inspect work at a close distance.
• Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics.
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math.
• Must be able to effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly.
• Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and reach.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to work independently and problem solve with minimal involvement from Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
