Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Welding Machine Operator on 2nd Shift at the Smyrna, TN plant. You will operate a resistance welder and support welding processes, with a schedule of 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, safety compliance, and reliable transportation to the Smyrna facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a resistance welder and follow safety protocols.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to learn welding processes.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a resistance welder.
• Learn Wesanco welding processes, changeovers, setting weld schedules, dressing weld tips, quality checks, and production/downtime reporting.
• Use hand and power tools during changeover and to dress weld tips.
