Job summary

CHART COOLER SVC CO INC in Tulsa, OK is seeking a skilled welder/fabrication technician for the second shift to support the design, welding and assembly of cryogenic equipment. You will work with cranes, forklifts and welding tools to build and repair components to precise specifications.

Responsibilities include welding, maintaining records, ensuring safety and quality, and assisting peers during training and learning of new skills. A strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a 3G structural welding test.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
• Proficient in welding best practices.
• Ability to pass weld test.
• 2G aluminum plate test with backing GTAW; more testing for 2G, 3G, and 6G after hire.
• First week in testing lab to finish qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, hand tools and forklifts.
• Welding of structural material through established manufacturing processes with minimum instruction and supervision.
• Accurately maintain required records; maintain cleanliness of assigned area.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs; assist other welders.
• Complete safety procedures and company training; perform other duties as assigned.
