Job summary

Chart Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Welder/Fitter to support fabrication and on-site installation activities. The role involves welding and fitting structural material, operating cranes and forklifts, and maintaining accurate records.

The position is safety sensitive and requires adherence to all safety protocols. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass 2G carbon plate with backing bar, with the potential to work up to 6 days a week, 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a 2G carbon plate with a backing bar.
• Proficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols.
• Proficient in welding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, hand tools and forklifts.
• Weld and fit structural material per established processes with minimal supervision.
• Maintain required records accurately.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs.
• Assist other welders in learning welding skills.
• Follow all safety procedures and company training.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
