Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Welder I for 2nd shift to assemble parts and weld sheet metal in a fast-paced environment.

You will read blueprints, set up the welding process, and perform grinding, drilling, and welding while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to quality standards.

We offer competitive pay starting at $29.28 per hour with a $2.00 shift premium, overtime opportunities, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience.
• Associates Degree in Welding or Certified Welder.
• Blue Print reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks.
• Read blue prints and schematic diagrams.
• Set up parts for the welding process.
• Weld sheet metal materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Use and operate hand and power tools.
