Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a skilled welder-fabricator for our plant. You will fabricate steel molds and form parts for concrete using hand and power tools, welding and cutting equipment, and lifting gear.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel fabrication, at least 1 year preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math and read fractions with a tape measure.
• Ability to read shop prints.
• Capable of Arc & MIG welding both horizontal and vertical, with certification.
• Capable of using oxy/fuel torch to cut steel.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.
• Prior use of fork trucks, rolling equipment, and overhead bridge cranes.
• Basic maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of steel molds for concrete using hand and power tools, welding operations and lifting equipment.
• Fabrication of steel form parts using cutting equipment and welding to spec.
• Other duties as needed.
